One of my favorite things to do in the summer is going to Disneyland. You can trade pins there. You can go on rides there also. My favorite rides are California Screaming, Thunder Mountain, and Space Mountain. That’s how I got all of my Disney pins. If you go on your birthday you can get a $50 gift card, but it has to be on your exact birthday. There are two other things you can get but I forgot what they are. Where do you like to go in the summer.
Well, at the beginning of the school year, I set a goal of running 100 miles. I did that before Christmas. Then I set another goal of running 200 miles by Easter. I did that. Then I set another goal of running 300 miles before the end of the school year.
On April 29th, I hit the 300 mile mark. Now I don’t really know what goal to set. I’m just having fun running every day. Here are some pictures from the awards ceremony at school. I received another t-shirt and a cool trophy. My class was really nice and cheered for me when they called my name.
This year was my first time running in the Jr. Carlsbad Race. It was so fun. There were so many people there and I was happy that my dad ran with me.
Here we are before the 1-mile race, waiting for our start time.
This photo was taken right after the gun went off.

The finish line!
I came in 5th place out of 225 runners. My time was 6:43. What a fun day it was 🙂
Anything is possible… With training and practice. I love this video!
Last year I received quite a bit of gift money for Christmas. I kept some of it but also donated some of it to the Global Giving project. I like Global Giving because I get to choose where my money goes. This year, I decided to help feed orphan cheetahs in Namibia. You can read more about it here.
What causes or charities do you believe in?
Today I finished running my 100th mile at school. I didn’t think I would be able to do it until Monday because I needed to run 18 laps or 4 1/2 miles. Since it was Friday, though, I was able to run before school. I did 13 laps in the morning.
Then at recess, we were given 10 extra minutes because of reading club. Usually I run 5 or 6 laps, but because of the 10 extra minutes, I was able to run 9 laps! So I ran a total of 22 laps today which is 5 1/2 miles.
We went out for dinner tonight to celebrate. I’m going to go for another 100 miles.
